Mountain Road

Unlike most other mountains, the Adirondacks were not formed along a fault line. Instead they are part of a geological dome that rises from 1 to 3 millimeters every year.

Rockwell Kent (1882–1971) is considered one of the most important American artists of the 20th century. In addition to his art, Kent was also known for his advocacy on behalf of organized labor and war refugees.
